 Indian  cricket  captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni equalled former captain Sourav Ganguly  on Friday when he led India to their eighth consecutive  match  at the World Cup . Dhoni has now captained the side in 8 consecutive wins in the 2011 and 2015 editions of the  World Cup . India beat the West Indies in their fourth consecutive  match  at the World Cup  Down Under and became the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals from Pool B with two matches remaining.
