Women who smoke are often judged as lacking morals, which only goes to show the sad state of gender equality in our country. A user on Quora went ahead to ask if women felt liberated (defying social conventions) while smoking in public places without feeling guilty. This is what other users on the site had to say. Probably the best answer to such a question. Why do we judge women for smoking, when men do things that are utterly shameless? Freedom encompasses the right to do whatever we want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone Vendors don't practice gender discrimination, so why should we?
