It was like a Bollywood movie, but with business pitches. And let's not forget, it gave us a new perspective on how to make that money, 'cause a 9-5 job ain't cuttin' it no more.

Yo, so you know how Shark Tank India season 1 was lit AF? Like, we were all hooked on the drama and the business talk (and even business terms such as Gross Margin, Net Margin, Operating expenses, Month-on-month growth, Run-rate, CAC, bottom-line growth, scaling, etc.).

But now, it's time to get ready for round two! And let me tell you, the stakes are high. These entrepreneurs came to the tank with big dreams and an even bigger ask - over 1 crore rupees (approx USD 121,500), which is like, a crazy amount of money.

Before we dive into the next season, let's take a look at the 27 businesses that pitched for over 1 crore rupees and the deals they landed.

  1. Qzense Labs: This company presented an idea for a food freshness detector. They asked for 1 crore for 0.25% equity but did not receive a deal.

  2. Revamp Moto: This company presented an idea for an e-bike. They asked for 1 crore for 1% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 1.5% equity with investors Anupam and Aman.

  3. Hecolll: This company presented an idea for pollution-resistant fabric. They asked for 1 crore for 1% equity but did not receive a deal.

  4. Raising Superstars: This company presented an idea for a child development app. They asked for 1 crore for 2% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 4% equity with investors Ashneer and Aman.

  5. Kabira Handmade: This company presented an idea for healthy oils. They asked for 1 crore for 5% equity but did not receive a deal.

  6. Annie Idea: This company presented an idea for a Braille literary device. They asked for 30 lakhs for 0.5% equity and received a deal for 1.05 crore at 3% equity with investors Namita, Anupam and Peyush.

  9. Hammer Lifestyle: This company presented an idea for smart audio products. They asked for 30 lakhs for 3% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 40% equity with investor Aman.

  10. Aas Vidyalaya: This company presented an idea for an edTech app. They asked for 1.5 crores for 3% equity and received a deal for 1.5 crores for 15% equity with investors Ashneer, Namita, and Aman.

  11. Otua: This company presented an idea for an electric auto vehicle. They asked for 1 crore for 1% equity and received a deal for 1 lakh for 1% equity and 99 lakhs debt with investor Ashneer.

  12. KetoIndia: This company presented an idea for customized keto diets for various medical issues. They asked for 1.5 crores for 1.25% equity but did not receive a deal.

  13. Magic lock: This company presented an idea for an LPG cylinder lock. They asked for 1.2 crores for 8% equity but did not receive a deal.

  14. IN A CAN: This company presented an idea for can cocktails. They asked for 50 lakhs for 2% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 10% equity with investors Ashneer, Namita, Anupam, Aman, and Peyush.

  16. Namhya Foods: This company presented an idea for Ayurvedic-enriched food. They asked for 1 crore for 5% equity and received a deal for 50 lakhs for 10% equity and 50 lakhs debt with investor Aman.

  17. Urban Monkey: This company presented an idea for streetwear. They asked for 1 crore for 1% equity but did not receive a deal.

  18. Sunfox Technologies: This company presented an idea for a portable ECG device. They asked for 1 crore for 2% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 6% equity with investors Namita, Anupam, Vineeta, Peyush, and Gazal.

  19. Alpino: This company presented an idea for roasted peanut products. They asked for 1.5 crores for 2% equity but did not receive a deal.

  20. Insurance Samadhan: This company presented an idea for insurance solutions. They asked for 1 crore for 1% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 4% equity with investor Peyush.

  21. Humpy A2: This company presented an idea for organic milk products. They asked for 75 lakhs for 4% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 15% equity with investors Vineeta, Peyush, and Gazal.

  23. Shades of Spring: This company presented an idea for flowers. They asked for 3 crores for 1% equity but did not receive a deal.

  24. Experiential Etc: This company presented an idea for technology-layered advertisement services. They asked for 2 crores for 4% equity but did not receive a deal.

  25. Proxgy: This company presented an idea for VR. They asked for 35 lakhs for 1% equity and received a deal for 1 crore for 10% equity with investors Ashneer and Peyush.

  26. n2Cook: This company presented an idea for the fastest cooking device. They asked for 1 crore for 1% equity but did not receive a deal.

  27. Elcare India: This company presented an idea for caring for elders. They asked for 1 crore for 2.5% equity but did not receive a deal.

Okay, so the sharks (aka investors) in this season of Shark Tank India were throwing their cash around like it was going out of style.

Ashneer dropped a cool 5.383 crore, Namita wasn't far behind with 6.383 crores, and Anupam wasn't too shabby either with 5.338 crores.

Meanwhile, Vineeta was being a little more conservative with 3.042 crores. But hold on, Aman was the real heavy hitter, dropping a whopping 9.358 crore! Peyush and Gazal also made some solid investments, with 8.297 crores and 1.2 crores respectively.

As for the deals, Ashneer closed 21, Namita closed 22, Anupam closed 24, Vineeta closed 15, Aman closed 28, Peyush closed 27 and Gazal closed 7 deals. Looks like the sharks were on fire this season!
