India has played against the United Arab Emirates twice before in the Cricket World cup. Once in 1994 and then again in 2004. On both occasions UAE was miserably beaten. This time team India intents to repeat history in W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth.

Having destroyed Pakistan and breaking jinx to beat South Africa, India is soaring high in spirit and look to complete a hat-trick of victories as their take on UAE.

A win in this match will give team India the top spot in Group B, which would enable them play the fourth-placed team of Group A in the quarterfinals.

Eyes will be on Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane who performed admirably in their match against South Africa, who too are one of the favorites.
